Fairy Dog-Mother Project ... keeping pets and families together

One of the most devastating things a family can face during difficult financial times is being forced to give up a cherished pet solely because they can no longer afford to provide food and basic care for it.  Unfortunately, this has happened all too often given the state of the economy.

The Feed Bag Fairy Dog-Mother Project has been formed to help keep families and their pets together.  We’d like to provide healthy nourishment to the pets of families who are struggling with financial crisis and are using the services of The Family Sharing Food Pantry to meet their needs.

It is our hope that we can raise funding to provide for the families’ pet food needs until the families are able to get back on their feet financially.  By providing these pets with premium nutrition, it will dramatically help to keep health care costs down.  Good nutrition is the first key to a healthy pet.

Generating donations from corporate sponsors and individuals with the interest and means to do so, we could provide each family with premium nutrition that is needed for a healthy & happy pet. One of our pet food manufacturers has generously agreed to assist with a price reduction on our cost of the dog & cat food for this project.

Please be assured that every single dollar donated to this project will be used solely to purchase pet food.  Any administrative costs and miscellaneous expenses are being absorbed by The Feed Bag PetSupply.  I personally will be delivering the food to Family Sharing.
