| Obedience
Training |
At The Feed Bag Training facility, we currently
offer two levels of foundational obedience classes;
General Manners Basic and General Manners Advanced.
General Manners
General Manners utilizes the Third Way of Dog Training,
which helps dogs develop a relationship of trust and
safety with their owner versus fear of punishment. The
Third Way helps you and your dog learn about reinforcing
desirable behaviors and managing the environment to
prevent undesirable behaviors.
In the Basic Puppy (beginner) Class you will learn
the basics of the Eye Contact Game; teaching the
dog to focus on you, along with Sit/Maintain, Down/Maintain,
Come When Called, Loose Leash Walking and Socialization,
along with other behavioral skills. The Basic Puppy
Class is ideal for puppies 8-15 weeks old. The
Basic Adult Class offers the same techniques as
Basic Puppy and is for dogs aged 16 weeks to Senior.
The Basic Adult Class is for any dog of any age,
but is especially ideal for the newly adopted dog.
In the Advanced Class, all of the above skills are
‘Proofed’ (perfected) plus additional skills and problem
solving techniques are taught to help you with your
ever-changing furry friend as he/she grows and matures.

Agility
Training |
Agility provides fun and excitement
for you and your dog. Mentally as well as physically
challenging, agility can be the perfect outlet
for that high energy dog who’s ancestors actually
had work to do, although dogs of all breeds can
enjoy agility just for the sake of fun.
Beginner agility courses introduce you and your
dog to jumps, A-frames, teeter-totters, dog walks
and weave poles.
Intermediate and Advanced agility courses focus
on proofing the foundations while building handling
strength and increasing speed.
